Artichoke Spinach Pizza with Essential Oil Alfredo Sauce

Pizza🍕 is always a delicious treat! But essential oil alfredo pizza is soo good. Give this healthy🤸‍♂️ take on a classic a try; garlic, artichoke, spinach; YUM!!!😋 For those who are gluten free, just swap out a regular crust for a gluten free or cauliflower one. The Rosemary and Lemon essential oils make the Alfredo sauce really stand out in this recipe

A word about essential oil quality for cooking. I only use doTERRA's essential oils in food and drinks. Most essential oils on the market are crap. Most also say not to ingest them which we know means they are not pure. Essential oils are in our spices and if you use it as a spice, you should be able to use it in cooking. Essential oils are very powerful, so a tiny bit goes a long way. Rosemary essential oil is very strong but one of my most favorite oils to cook with. To make your Rosemary EVO use 1/2 cup of organic olive oil and 5 drops of Rosemary essential oil and keep in a glass bottle. 1 teaspoon of rosemary EVOO is equal to 1/2 teaspoon of rosemary spice. It’s amazing on chicken and on roasted potatoes. 1 drop of Lemon essential oil is equal to 1 teaspoon of lemon zest.

Lemon, Rosemary Essential Oil Alfredo Sauce

Garlic, peppercorn, onions, salt, red peppers


  • 1/2 stick Butter, salted & chopped

  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic, crushed

  • 1- Tablespoon + Flour

  • 2 - cups of Whipping Cream (I often use milk- simmer longer)

  • Italian Parsley- chopped (optional)

  • Dash of Italian Seasoning (optional)

  • 1/2 -teaspoon Rosemary EVOO

  • 1-2- cups Parmesan cheese, shredded

  • 2 drops - Lemon Essential oil

Make Alfrado Sauce:

Sauté on medium heat garlic in butter, then add Whipping Cream or Milk (I normally just use Milk because I have it on hand). Using a tea strainer spoon add flour to the milk and stir. You can’t stop stirring once the milk is in it or the milk will burn. Add your spices, and EVOO. I add Johnny Seasoning Salt, fresh Italian parsley, and a mix of Italian seasonings. Once those are combined add parmesan cheese the amount depending on how thick and cheesy you want it. Once you get that just right turn off the stove and add your Lemon Essential Oil.

Pizza Toppings


  • 1-2 - handfuls Mozzarella- shredded

  • 8 - pickled artichoke hearts, chopped

  • 1 - Zuchini, thinnly sliced

  • 1- handful Spinach, washed & dryed

  • 1- Chicken breast- cooked and chopped (optional)

  • 5- Cremini Mushrooms, thinly sliced (optional)

  • 4- 1/2ed cloves Garlic, cooked in oven for 15 min or microwave for 1 min then sliced in 1/2 (optional)

  • 1- Tablespoon Sundried Tomatoes - chopped (optional)

Use your favorite Pizza Dough - we love it made from scratch and dush the bottom with homemade corn meal. Let me know if you want that recipe.

Ladle your Alfredo sauce on the pizza dough, top with mozzarella then your yummy pizza toppings. Cook per your crust instructions. So tasty!!
